60-second interview with The County Club, Guildford's Chairman Howard House
What is your personal interest in being a member of The County Club?
I've been a member of The County Club for most of my professional life and I'm honoured to be its Chairman. The County Club has always been an organization for the professional community to meet on a social basis as well as providing excellent networking opportunities between members.
My previous office was conveniently located in the Tunsgate near The County Club and I could enjoy regular lunches there for business or pleasure using the club's facilities, especially the snooker table (which is sadly no more).
Can you tell me about TWM Solicitors?
TWM Solicitors has been established for over one hundred years and has several offices located across London & Surrey that provide a full range of services to individuals and businesses
What is your highlight of being a member of The County Club?
The County Club is a barometer of how the local business climate is working. It is a forum for exchanging views with competitors and other business professionals. It's an extremely good way of keeping in touch with what is going on in Guildford.
Any further comments you'd like to add?
I hope to continue my membership beyond my retirement, so that I can carry on the professional relationships that I have built through The County Club over the years.
